In a singular perspective, single-use plastic waste seems minuscule. But from a broader perspective is monumental.

And its scale only magnifies an ethical dilemma, a dilemma where we’ve replaced what’s right for what’s convenient.

And that, by definition, is not sustainable.

Because the truth is not hiding. We are hiding from it.

Eight million metric tons of plastic enter the ocean each year. One million seabirds and one hundred thousand marine animals die each year from plastic. The average person eats seventy thousand pieces of microplastics a year.

Simply put, single-use plastic is devastating.

And it’s in our actions. Little things make big things happen.
